You have not forgotten. You simply stopped remembering.

Ancient practice, indigenous wisdom, living landscape, real community. For those who sense there is more.

Back into the Body

Breath, movement, heat and touch. Regulating our nervous systems and increasing our capacity to feel more.

Back into Nature

Primal, wild and truly alive, remembering that you're a part of it all.

Back in Time

Seasonal, ancestral, conscious and ceremonial. Aligned with our biology with reverence for the land and the stars.

Back into Community

Friendship, warmth, tribe, finding a new sense of belonging amongst like hearted beings.

A thread that runs through all of us

Every culture that ever lived close to the land understood the same things. That the body holds wisdom the mind forgets. That nature is not a backdrop, it is a teacher. That ceremony matters. That we do not thrive alone.

Ancient Activation is built on this recognition. We draw from the druidic traditions of the Celtic world, the land we are from. But we also learn from Indigenous Wisdom Keepers from across the globe. Mayan culture, Amazonian, Vedic, the Norse, Native American. We visit them, sit with them and experience their customs, belief systems and ceremonies first hand. Different lands, different languages, the same understanding of what it means to live in right relationship with the earth.

Rooted in nature. Guided by those of the land. Open to all who are ready to remember.

Our Approach

How we work

Indigenous wisdom, honoured

Every retreat is built with and led alongside facilitators who are of the land and culture we explore. We are guests. We learn. We do not extract.

Felt, not taught

This is not a lecture. The knowledge lives in the body, in the breath, in the cold water and the fire circle. We experience our way through it.

A universal thread

Celtic, Mayan, Andean, Aboriginal. Different I lands, different languages, the same understanding. That we belong to nature, and to each other.

The Founder

Born in the Forest of Dean. Led back by it.

Scott Edwards grew up in Lydney, a mile from one of the most ancient sacred sites in Britain. He left, as people do. Played professional rugby across Europe, ran nightclubs in Madrid for a decade, built a life that looked, from the outside, like it was going well.

What broke it open was not one thing. It was several, arriving close together. The death of his father. The end of his marriage. The slow realisation that none of the structures he had built were actually holding him. What followed was less a journey and more a return: breathwork, plant medicine in Peru, ceremonial sauna, years of sitting with people who had never lost what he was trying to find.

He is the founder of Ancient Activation, but he is not the source. The knowledge belongs to the land and to the people who have tended it across millennia. Ancient Activation exists to make introductions.

"I am not a teacher. I create conditions. The land, the fire, the breath, the people around you, they do the work."
